Lizelle Prosch – Practice Leader

Vice President

Lizelle has 10 year of experience in the environmental management field advising clients on environmental risks, undertaking environmental impact assessments and developing environmental management plans. Her primary focus in this time has been on the assessment of environmental impacts in the property development, industrial and mining sectors.  Lizelle was the lead consultant on a national EIA for PPC Cement for the secondary materials co-processing programme.  She co-ordinated the development of the Environmental Outlook for the North-West Province.  More recently, Lizelle has been focusing on strategic environmental, social and governance interventions and is the strategic environmental advisor to the largest community-owned investment company in South Africa.

Steven Ingle – Environmental Consultant

Consultant

Steven’s experience lies in the compilation of EIA’s and EMP’s for large scale real-estate development and infrastructure projects. He has experience in environmental risk assessments, due-diligence, waste management and strategic environmental planning. He has also worked in local economic development plans and socio-economic analyses. He is currently responsible for the Environmental Authorisations Unit of Marsh Environmental Services.

Michael Ferendinos – ESG Analyst

Associate Consultant

Michael has more than three years research experience and joined Marsh from the Institute for International Research where he was the Project Manager responsible for the management of the research process and carried out industry-specific research in the financial, energy, mining, environmental  and governmental sectors. He specialised in Political and Economic Risk, International Relations, Political Economy and Emerging Markets. Michael will be combining his political and economic risk background with his role as an ESG analyst at Marsh in order to become a specialist in emerging risks.

Veru Kowlassur – Occupational Health and Safety Consultant

Veru holds a National Diploma in Safety Management from the University of South Africa. He has also completed various courses on Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Management, Environmental Law, Occupational Health and Safety Law, Documented Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) Implementation, Management, Integration and Audit.

Veru has extensive experience within the various industries in South Africa. His experience includes the implementation, management and audit of Integrated Management Systems specifically focused on Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Quality Management. He also has extensive experience in Legal and System Compliance audit with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Legal Compliance.
