Leeuwpoort Deveopments (Pty) Ltd has appointed Marsh Environmental Services (MES) to undertake an Environmental Impact Assessment process for the proposed Leeuwpoort North Development Project, located to the south of Boksburg in the Ekurhuleni Metro. The project is proposed to be a mixed use residential development consisting of partly subsidised, bonded affordable and middle income housing products, also incorporating business, community and open space uses as well as public transportation facilities.
The Draft Scoping Report is available for review by registered interested and affected parties for a 30 day period. Comments on the report may be submitted in writing to the MES contact person no later than 10 December 2009.
